Spiritual Beings - The Angels, Archangels & Elementals
By Lyn Nichols Angels are beings of light who have chosen to undertake their learning purely on the spiritual plane. They bring forth messages from the Creator to help us remember who we are, that we too are spiritual beings even though we have chosen to take on physical form. They are sent to us from the Divine to guide
us through our human lifetime and to keep us safe for the duration of our earthly contract, ensuring it is not terminated before our life’s purpose is fulfilled. They are ready to assist us as soon as we say the word, with any issue large or small, to angels there is no order of difficulty. Their wish for us is to feel peace, love and joy and to know that they exist. Angels are free from gender, having a balance of both masculine and feminine energy. They never incarnate as humans, unlike Spirit Guides who have lived in human form at some stage. In the Angelic Realm there is a heirarchy that is believed to go like this: Heavenly Councillors - said to work closest to the Divine Energy. They include Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones. Seraphim – are the most highly evolved angels whose work involves the planets, stars and other heavenly bodies. Cherubim – work with light and colour energy. Because our souls vibrate at a higher rate than our physical bodies the Cherubim transform intense divine light into light which our physical bodies can tolerate. The bridge of light that is created allows us to have direct communication with our guides and angels, it allows us to safely have spiritual experiences. Thrones – work in conjunction with the Seraphin and their job is to govern the planets. Each planet has it’s own Throne, the Earth Throne controls climatic disasters such as droughts and earthquakes and keeps balance regarding species. Heavenly Governors. Dominions – are the teachers of evolving angels. Their job is to assist the guardian angels with the wellbeing of the human they are assigned to.
Virtues – are the angels who respond to our requests for healing, they direct spiritual energy to where it is requested. Powers – watch over birth and death and rebirth, they guard the Akashic records (records of each souls evolutionary journey – throughout all reincarnations). Messenger Angels Principalities – govern and guard nations, cities and large organizations. They are like the bigwigs of the messenger angels. Invoke them when you feel the need for extra strong assistance. Archangels – oversee the guardian angels. They can be invoked to assist us regarding our life’s purpose, for healing, safety and blessings. Guardian Angels – are assigned to us throughout our whole earthly journey, from the second of conception to beyond death where they stay with us and guide us as we re-adapt to life in the spirit realm. Their job is to protect and guide us without interfering with our free will. The Archangels are given traditional names and all have a certain quality. Some of the most well known of the Archangels are Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, Ariel, Azrael, Chamuel, Haniel, Jeremiel, Zadkiel, Jophiel, Metatron, Raguel, Raziel and Sandalphon. Elementals – encompass flower fairies, gnomes, salamanders, undines and elves. These are the lowest energy manifestation in the angelic hierarchy. They live the closest to earth and are the only angels with an ego, due to their lower energy vibration. They are environmental angels and are associated with
nature, the plants, trees, animals and elements. Devas – guard certain aspects of nature such as the trees, rocks, forests, plants, rivers, the seasons, fertility, seedtime and harvest. They sometimes guard buildings and areas of sacred energy within the earth. Ascended Masters – are spiritual beings that once lived as a human on the earth and were great healers, leaders and teachers - they continue to help us today in spirit form. These include Jesus, Buddha, Moses, Mary, Yogananda, Quan Yin, Ashtar and the saints. We can call on them to help us at anytime. | What Do Angels Look Like? She threw all her bills into the waste basket without opening them up. The kids were outside playing at the neighbors house. Her husband, as usual, had simply disappeared without saying a word to her, slamming the door behind him, stalking silently into the cool evening. He was probably drinking beer with his friends and watching a football game. Anything to be out of the house. Anything to be away from her. She sat down on her couch and put her face in her hands. "How did things get this bad?" she asked herself. Somehow she couldn't cry. She had got so used to suppressing her feelings that all she felt was a numb sensation. It was like an anesthesia over her broken heart. She worked hard at her job as a cashier at the grocery store--but it wasn't enough. And Jim seemed to have given up on finding another job after he was laid off from the bakery. Suddenly a strange vision appeared in her mind's eye. It was an angel wearing the body of her 12-year-old son, Matt. The same splash of red hair, with the same freckles on his amiable chubby cheeks. The same disarming soft eyes of pale green, like the waters of the lake on a cloudy day she remembered when she was growing up in Michigan. And the same beguiling smile. "I wonder what angels look like," she mused to herself. "That's not the right question?" said her angel. "What is it then?" "What do your thoughts look like?" "I have no idea." "Just look around you. What you have. The people in your life. The pattern of your experiences. "Those are your thoughts made visible. "From the invisible they have sprung into the visible world. "The evidence of who you are and what you think is all around you. "And if you don't like it you can change it." "How?" she asked. "The same way. "You probably want an example. "If you don't have enough money right now for all your needs, you have been thinking about how difficult it is to make money. You have then proved to yourself exactly how this is true. "If you want to have more money than your expenses, you have to think about your reality in this way. You have to think, "I have more money than bills. All my needs are met as I express my creative talents." And so on. "The general pattern of your thoughts, consistently applied over time, will make it the way you desire. "Many people, of course, know all about this. Yet few demonstrate it. This is because the habitual power of your thoughts has a greater pull on you. It's much easier to live out the past than to boldly seek refuge in the future. It's easier to believe in the evidence of things seen than in the evidence of things that can come to be." Just then her son, Matt, came into the room. Seeing his mother sitting on the couch with a far away look in her eye, he came and sat quietly beside her. "It'll get better, Mom," he said. "It already has." "How?" "An angel visited me." "What do angels look like?" "They look like the people you love." "What do they do Mom?" "They remind you that you have the power to change anything." "How?" "By giving up the belief that you gave it away and can't get it back." By CD Mohatta You can feel protection and safety. You can sense the answer toa question that is bothering you but you haven’t even
verbalized. You feel like you are being given messages and chances to follow a certain path. When you feel comfort in trying times or a sense of happiness when you are sad, you may be feeling the power and presence of your guardian angel. When you feel alone and don’t have the comfort of feeling protected,
then you may not be able to feel the presence of your angel. If that is the case, then you can do something to help you feel and hear your angel’s messages and communication. There are simple ways to increase your reception of Divine communication with your angels. You need to be prepared to listen and feel their presence. In order to be aware of an
angel’s message, you must place yourself in the reality that we do have angels trying to communicate with us all the time. Have
you ever felt that you need to make a phone call, stop a particular thing from happening, or do something that you hadn’t planned to do? Those can be examples of our angels directing us. Sometimes the directions are clear and the outcomes can be seen and understood. Other times, we don’t know why we feel or act a certain way. We need to make ourselves ready to receive help from our Angels. We can ready ourselves by letting our mind and body
relax when we feel an outside power is with us. We need to breathe, slowly and deeply. It seems when we are uncertain in stressful situations that we start to have shallow breaths. That can hinder any communication, whether from a physical source or a divine one. By taking slow, deep breaths, we give our body, brain and soul more oxygen. Many wonderful things happen when we have a surplus of oxygen, one being that our angels can travel to us more easily. It’s
been said that the more fresh air we receive when we breathe, the better we can feel the messages of out angel. That is why we
feel so good when we are out in nature, walking, sitting, watching and enjoying the outside and all the fresh oxygen. Angels love the fresh air and are more available when we are filled with it. It’s why we feel their presence so readily when we are one with nature. So, two of the most important things to realize when we want to feel our angels are to RELAX and to BREATHE deeply. When you are relaxing and breathing deeply, it is much easier to hear and feel your angel’s message, comfort, or protection. Once you are
relaxed and breathing lots of health oxygen, you are allowing your body and mind to hear your angel talking to you. Sometimes
it is not what we want to hear but it is still very important to us. Our angels stay around us to protect and guide us, so it is very important to FOLLOW THEIR GUIDANCE. If you are being receptive in your relaxed state and asking for help and guidance, your angels will let you know what you should
do. Whether it is something about your health or something you should be doing to improve your life, it is essential to listen so you can hear their voice. If it is personal like improving
your diet, it is because our bodies are sensitive to the chemicals and processed foods that we eat, which makes it hard for the us to have a clear open line of communication. Since angels are the best teachers to guide us on how to better hear their voice, we need to listen carefully so we can learn the best way to hear them. It is important to ask for guidance and follow whatever guidance you receive. We need to ask for signs from them to know if we are following their advice. Asking for specific signs is not good, because we all receive different signs. Our angels created unique signs for each of us and creatively use wonderful signs that each of us can easily recognize. There is loving sense of humor that angels display in their use of signs and they speak to us in many creative ways. You can feel an angel message if you are quiet and relaxed, and you will start to notice more messages all around you, even when you aren’t trying. Putting your mind at rest to feel the angel’s
messages and signs will allow you to be successful in recognizing the signs with confidence. | | Angels Among Us Part 1 Look around you and you will see them. Close your eyes and you will feel them. I'm talking about angels. They come in many forms, many colors, and many sizes, including male, female, and animal forms. They have different roles and serve different purposes. There are healing angels, messenger angels, protective angels, warrior angels, guide angels, teaching angels, and angels that inhabit certain places. Angels are super compassionate beings that vibrate at a very high frequency, so consequently they are flooded with brilliant light in their natural form. There are hundreds and thousands of them with us. They need human prayers, either spoken out loud or in thought to move them to action. There is a symbiotic relationship between humans and the angelic beings. They cannot interfere unless they are asked through prayer or meditation. That's why anyone could be directed in a moment to pray for a total stranger, so that the angels may act even half way across the world. Angels also can be directed or commanded into action long before an accident or a tragedy has occurred, because you have already called them and released them into action by your words or your thoughts on a continuous basis long before anything has happened. If you are moved to pray for someone or some place and you don't know why, just stop and pray. Direct angels to work on the behalf of the person or place that you are praying for. If you don't know the cause of your urgency to pray release and call all angels that may be appropriate. Call the healing angels, guide angels, warrior angels and protective angels. Speak to them directly and tell them that you want them to go immediately to the person or place that you are feeling or seeing at the time. "Angels protect her/him, help her/him right now. Do everything that you need to do to help her/him." Or you could say, "I wrap this place in light right now. Warrior angels stand guard right now." You can be very specific with them, or you can be more vague. But as clearly as you can direct them, it will ensure that the mission will get done very accurately and swiftly. The very precise angel for the job will be assigned. If you don't know what to say, just say "Angels I command you to help her/him in every way that is needed right now." If there is healing to be done, that job is usually done by two or three angels. It is very rare that only one angel is required on a healing mission. Each one of us has a guardian angel that is always with us. When we gather in a group of people, thousands of guardian angels gather with us, at least one guardian per person. But there may be two or three assigned to one person at any given time. When we sing and worship, thousands of angels come to sing and hear the sounds and join in to celebrate. The Angels release a lot of joy and ecstasy in times of celebrations and prayer. One of their natural components is joy. They radiate joy and happiness. When you direct them, you cannot direct them to manipulate, to hurt anyone, or destroy anything. They work on higher level of love and compassion and they will work with the best intention for everyone. They respect the free will of each person. For example, you cannot direct them to make someone love you or to be with you. You may pray or meditate that the best solution be done for all that are involved. Then the angels will act in the highest manner for each person. You may also pray that she/he be helped to see their ignorance of a situation. I'm sure you have had an encounter with an angel or two, maybe you didn't even know it. But they are here!! By Deby Angels. Angels are messengers of the Lord and are spoken of in Hebrews as “ministering spirits”. In the New Testament Angels appear as ministers of God. Such as in Luke 1:5-25 when the angel Gabriel announced the birth of John the Baptist and told Elisabeth that her son would prepare the way for the Savior. Then 6 months later Gabriel appeared to Elisabeth’s cousin Mary and told her
that her son would be the Savior of all mankind. Angels attended Christ throughout his life, “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels,” Matthew 16:27 of King James Version of the Bible. Angels appeared to the shepherds watching their flocks on the night the Savior was born and proclaimed, Glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace, goodwill toward men. An angel also warns the little family to
flee to Egypt and tells them when it is finally safe to return.
In Luke 24 we also read of two angels announcing Christ’s resurrection. Guardian Angel Prayer, from the Catholic Forum. Guardian Angel from heaven so bright,
Watching beside me to lead me aright,
Fold your wings 'round me,
and guard me with love,
Softly sing songs to me
of heaven above.
Amen. Guardian Angels. There are many references to angels throughout the New Testament but no clear statement as to their nature or their relation to mankind in general. Guardian Angels are said to protect and guide not just children. Honorius of Autun believed that every soul was assigned a guardian angel. In Catholicism it is believed that a guardian angel represents individuals before God, watches over
them always, aids their prayers and presents their souls to God at death.
Angels are said to be Immortal spirits that appear to mankind at important moments in their lives. They appear as messengers of god, bringing comfort, warnings and tests of belief and deliverance. In art Guardian Angels are depicted as very feminine and beautiful and sometimes with maternal attributes. Guardian Angels are typically painted wearing simple tunic style gowns in soft pastel colors or all white. Angels are most always painted with wings, their wings are said to represent their role as messengers of God. They are also often shown with musical instruments. The most popular being a harp or a some type of horn or trumpet. Guardian Angels have been used as symbols of Christmas in the form of figurines, ornaments, Christmas tree toppers, Christmas cards and even Christmas cookies. One of the most popular uses
for angels at Christmas is to include them in your nativity scene. One is typically hung above the Nativity Stable but they can also stand or kneel anywhere within the scene. I think the most popular use of angels at Christmas is in music. A lot of the songs that we sing every year at Christmas time tell the story of angels announcing the Saviors birth. Some
of those include, ‘Angels We Have Heard On High’ ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ and ‘It Came Upon a Midnight Clear’. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Heavenly Angels
By Joe Willmeth Angels From the Bible. No figures in the Bible are as wonderful as the Christmas angels. The Christmas angels are described as messengers of god. The word angels are Greek in origin and means messenger or one
who is sent. Angels are supposed to be immortal spirits. It is said that angels live in Heaven and are thought to be intermediaries of God and humans. Angels are thought to be our link to the kingdom of heaven. The concept of angels with a human body and angel wings began in the Hebrew Bible or Old
Testament of Christianity. The New Testament says they rejoice when people on earth are sorry for their sins. Christian Angels. Christianity has developed the most elaborate doctrines about angels. Christianity recognizes an order of beings in which they rank above humans beings but under God. In the Bible nine ranks
of angels have been counted. Seraphim angles and Cherubim angels are thought to be the highest order of angels. The Archangel is a chief angel or a leader among the angels. Saint Michael is known as an Archangel. Guardian angels or angel guardians represent a comforting presence for all of us. Christian doctrine regarding angels reached full development during the A.D. 1100's and 1200's, especially in the teachings of Saint Thomas Aquinas. He believed that they were necessary to
fill the gap between God and mankind. Aquinas taught that countless numbers of angels existed and that they were immortal. Saint Thomas Aquinas believed angels knew everything except what depended on human choice and what was known only to God. Angel pictures are traditionally pictures that portray angels with human bodies and wings. Poets and artists have portrayed the
angel with wings as symbols of innocence or virtue. They also symbolize purity, peace and love. The Christmas Angels. The heavenly angels play an important role in the Christmas celebration. It is said that they brought us news of peace through the coming of the Christ child, an angel gift from God for all people on earth. Gabriel is the heavenly angel of Christmas that brought this news to Mary. Gabriel revealed to
Mary that she would have a son. An angel also visited Joseph.
The angel told Joseph of the upcoming birth of the Christ child. The angel also asked him not to be afraid to marry Mary. A story tells us that God gave a small group of tiny angels a special
assignment to watch over this couple on their journey to Bethlehem. These angels were pretty new, and still learning angel ways. The small angels took their jobs very seriously. Mary and Joseph were guided over rugged pathways at the beginning of a cold winter. The angels did everything they could to prepare the
way for Mary and Joseph. But even the tiny angel’s best efforts were of no avail when it came to finding shelter for the two in the crowded town. The tiny angels sang sweetly and used their
collective efforts on behalf of Mary and Joseph but in the end, the couple was forced to occupy make shift lodgings in the stable of a Bethlehem inn keeper. As the night stillness settled over the land, an exciting moment came to pass inside the inns stable. The tiny Christmas angels assigned to care for the young couple flew closer to earth than ever before to observe the miracle birth of Christ.
The fastest angel of the group swept over the stable, catching sight of the newborn child through the stable’s shabby, patched roof. And in an instant, the angels’ mission became clear: The
little band of angels had been chosen by God to herald the birth of Christ! With great excitement and joy, the leading angel of the band broke into a glorious song that flowed out into the heavens and swirled around the clouds. It was a song of
thanksgiving for all mankind to share. Their melody was heard to all the ends of the earth. | | Angels Among Us Part 3 Before you came to this planet I'm sure that you lived with the angels and you communicated with them. Now it is a matter of remembering that time that you were able to communicate with your thoughts. You can develop your ability to discern them once again. Like anything that takes practice this also takes some practice. Prayer and meditation greatly helps to increase your vibration so that you may see into other realms. Singing and celebration also increases your vibration. Eating food that is more whole, like vegetables and fruits, purifies your vibration. Resisting foods that will bring your energy lower helps to clarify your energy. Foods such as coffee, caffeine, dairy products, processed foods, sugar, and red meat tend to make your energy very heavy and dense.
Negative thoughts and emotions tend to block higher vibrations. So clear any fear, grief, guilt, rage, envy, and unforgiveness that you may be carrying. Working with joy, love, compassion, kindness, appreciation and gratitude lifts your vibrations. Work with light from your heart center to purify and meditate. The more you are able to purify your being, the more you will be able to see into other realms, and you will be able to discern angels and guides. Invite angelic beings to come. But you must say, "I invite only beings of the highest light and purity and who love peace to come." Speak to them, and then wait and listen. Tune in your hearing to hear their words. Also open your heart to tune into changes of vibrations. Work with colors to help purify and strengthen your chakras. Be aware of subtle shifts in color and vibrations. Be aware of, and responsive to, shifts of emotions to joy, peace, tranquility, and stillness. Of course, you also have to acknowledge the angel's presence. Let yourself be open to the angel.
Remember, they are super compassionate beings there to help, uplift, and sustain you here on Earth. The more you work in love, peace, compassion, and kindness for every being around you, the more likely you are to begin to register a shift in your energetic being to a higher vibration so that you are able to see them. Also, it is important to drop any preconceived notions that you may have of what angels are supposed to be and just experience the encounter as it happens. When it happens, try not to discount it, just express appreciation and gratitude for the experience and the encounter. Continue to invite them in. Show respect for the encounter and the angelic being. Remember, you have the ability and the right to direct them to action. It can be very much an active relationship. They are tuned in for your frequency and vibration and you can be very tuned into them.
Also remember that even though you feel like a physical being you are not. You are an energetic being wrapped in a physical matter called "body". If you were not in this body you could be light and free and move very swiftly across the earth plane too. You could also rapidly communicate with thoughts and create action in an instant. You could also appear solid and have form and substance in a moment from one place and rapidly move and create solid form in the next place. Angels work in and exist in this energetic realm, and if you want an angelic encounter this is where it will most likely happen. It is easier for a dense being to become lighter than a light being to become more dense. Clear and purify your being so that your vibration will start to become lighter and more energetically based. Come up to their level and they will meet you halfway. When it occurs, enjoy it. Let yourself be filled with the joy of their presence. By Erika Hall I recently published a ‘blog’ under my nickname of Muchacha to my account at www.blogit.com about a miraculous survival I had six months ago and someone commented on it that I must have had a Guardian Angel, and that they deserved a medal! Well this set me thinking because how else did I survive? I mean, there I was, not exactly a nubile young thing, falling at least 50 metres down a ravine at gone midnight on a very cold January night and I ended up with horrendous cuts and bruises, sprains, a dislocation, frozen kidneys and a partially collapsed lung …. but not a single bone was actually broken! I was in Intensive Care in the Hospital for 5 days and nights and well, I
SURVIVED. Indeed, more than that, I did not end up in a wheel chair, or comatose state - my brain was not damaged, despite the
fact that I was unconscious for 15 hours … and apart from some very interesting scars plus the occasional backache, I feel no
different to what I did before the accident now … like I said, just six months on! Friends tell me there has to be a reason why I survived …. and I accept that too (I will address that in another article!) but as to HOW ???? I remember falling - I remember hitting the rocks and hurtling over and over - and then I remember coming to a stop with a thud. That was when I said to myself I had to wait until it was daylight before I could even think of clambering out of the situation and so I passed out. Some six years ago the only person who ever really understood me passed away. She was my mother. I still miss her absolutely.
Then just seven months before my drama, her nearest sister and my favourite aunty joined her. Could they have saved me? I mean, when people talk of ‘Guardian Angels’ one assumes they are some mystical figure from ancient times but why can’t it be someone who loved you utterly? Someone you loved utterly - who although they are now dead, ARE capable of still guiding and saving you in a crisis? I know, I know, this is where Faith, Religion and Belief come in so all right, if one believed in God then I suppose you would
be thanking Him forever for your survival; and I don’t deny that possibility - it’s just that, somehow, I like to think that MY
Guardian Angel is still my little mum, aided and abetted by her sister. What do you think? Erika Hall. By Jason Powers In a world that we live in today can be a very dangerous place with terrorism, natural disasters and human hatred at an all time high as never seen before in history. We as God’s people must understand the reality of God’s Angels. No matter what your denomination or background we are able to walk in safety in today’s dangerous world. The Lord does not look at denominations, color or background, He looks at the heart. If you live a surrendered life in the Lord then you are promised Angels for protection. Never again do you have to live a life full of worry and fear. You can walk through life with peace and joy knowing that there are Angels walking with you and your children. Some think that God won’t protect them because of their failures and mistakes that they made in life; however we must understand that the Lord doesn’t look for perfection He looks for surrender. His word promises great protection for those who seek Him and live for Him even in today’s busy life. Angels are ministering spirits, they minister for the saints but they do not minister to us (Ps 104:4) (Heb 1:7, 14). Only the Holy Spirit ministers to us however Angels minister for us.
In times of great danger you can count on an Angel/Angels being their, because you are God’s child and He cares for you. In your worst moments you can walk assured that everything is going to be alright. When your enemies surround you pick up your head and be full of strength because you’re not alone in this battle. When you decide in life to walk out into God’s plans you will be faced with danger on every side and every time you will see the power of God as He makes a way where their seemed to be no way through that battle and many times He will send Angels to fight and clear the path that you’re walking, because nothing and no-one can stop God’s plans for your life not even satan himself. There have been times in my life that I have seen supernatural events of Angels working in my life concerning protection. Like the time when a car was coming right towards me both of us were doing around seventy miles per hour on a major highway in the state of Florida, the car jumped lanes and came right for me when all of a sudden I seen that car thrown off to the side as though a unseen hand pushed the car out of my way. I have had many other victories like this that’s why I am writing to you about Angels they are real and they are there for you.
